- I have used this mini-gaiter in conjunction with multi activity shoes for nearly a year and done a Pennine Way (Southern half only), Cleveland Way and Lakes 'Haute' route, etc. with them. A Medium fits my size 9 shoes perfectly and never slips off the heel. In my view these are probably the best mini-gaiter currently available and I will definitely buy another pair when mine wear out.
